Barton: Nearly $888,000 Awarded for Recreation, Conservation in 124th District

HARRISBURG - Rep. Jamie Barton (R-Berks/Schuylkill) announced the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) has awarded nearly $888,000 to organizations in the 124th Legislative District for recreation and conservation projects. The funding comes from DCNR’s Community Conservation Partnerships Program.

Barton Hosts Dedication of D-Day 80th Anniversary Plaque

HARRISBURG - Rep. Jamie Barton (R-Berks/Schuylkill) hosted a dedication of a plaque commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Allied Invasion of Normandy. The plaque has been placed under a red oak tree, which was planted June 6, 1984, on state Capitol grounds in Harrisburg in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of D-Day.

Barton Amendment to Increase Campaign Finance Transparency Approved

Jamie Barton (R-Berks/Schuylkill) announced today a House bill requiring candidates for the General Assembly to file a sixth Tuesday pre-election campaign expense report, which includes an amendment from Barton, has passed the House.
